The Station

EdgeCorp retained DGH to provide complete architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical design, along with ongoing support throughout construction of their luxury condominium project in the Transcona neighbourhood of Winnipeg, Manitoba. The project was designed to transform two acres of existing land inside a well-established neighbourhood, by providing luxury condominiums to new residents without competing with the existing residential neighbourhood or the existing commercial infrastructure.

The Station acts as a residential hub to provide a community setting for residents, while also providing access to neighbouring amenities. DGH worked efficiently to complete this unique residential project to meet the needs of all residents. DGH took care to ensure that necessities, such as accessibility, were not an afterthought, by incorporating barrier-free access in our initial design process. DGH also worked diligently to ensure that all engineering and design features at The Station had minimal impact on the existing neighbourhood infrastructure. In turn, DGH was able to create a residential complex that provided continuity to families and individuals who wished to stay connected to their neighbourhood while also benefiting from all of the conveniences of a condominium close to all their commercial needs.
